Theta One API offers five subscription plans to fit your needs.

Monthly credits are automatically granted on each billing cycle. Unused credits expire at the end of the cycle.
How Credits Work
Theta One API uses credits as the consumption unit. Credits and USD are tracked separately:
- Subscription credits are granted on each billing cycle. Pro and Pro+ subscribers receive a 20% bonus — for example, $20 on the Pro plan grants 24 credits.
- Top-up credits (additional purchases) are granted at a 1:1 rate — $1 = 1 credit. The bonus only applies to subscription credits.
- API usage deducts credits at the rates shown in Pricing Information (e.g., 0.0004 credits per second of STT).
Free Plan
The Free plan is designed for individuals exploring the API. You receive 0.20 credits per month (approximately 8 minutes of STT) to test and evaluate the service. Only Speech Recognition (STT) is available on this plan.
Starter Plan
The Starter plan is ideal for small teams starting to build. It includes 5 credits per month (approximately 3.5 hours of STT) and unlocks access to all services including Pronunciation Feedback.
Pro Plan
The Pro plan is built for growing teams with production workloads. It includes 24 credits per month (a 20% bonus on the $20 subscription, approximately 16.7 hours of STT), unlimited API keys, and the ability to purchase additional credits when needed.
Pro+ Plan
The Pro+ plan is for high-volume production workloads. It includes 360 credits per month (a 20% bonus on the $300 subscription, approximately 250 hours of STT), unlimited API keys, and additional credit purchase.
Enterprise Plan
The Enterprise plan offers custom pricing, custom credit allocations, unlimited rate limits, and dedicated support. It also supports postpaid billing.

Enterprise plans are managed by your account manager. Plan changes cannot be made from the API Console — please contact sales to discuss any changes.
Billing Methods
Prepaid Credits (Default)
All plans use prepaid credits by default. Monthly subscription credits are automatically granted, and usage is deducted from your credit balance. When credits are exhausted, API calls return 402 PAYMENT_REQUIRED.

Postpaid Billing (Enterprise Only)
Enterprise customers can opt for postpaid billing, where usage is invoiced monthly. This requires a separate agreement with Theta One.
