Cookie Policy
Effective Date: 2026-04-21 Version: 1.0
This Cookie Policy explains how Theta One AI ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Theta One API Console, the Documentation site, and the Company website (together, the "Sites").
It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDKs that perform a comparable function.
2. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required to operate the Sites — session, authentication, CSRF protection, load balancing | sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token, next-auth.csrf-token | Necessary — no consent required |
| Preferences | Remember your locale, theme, and UI choices | locale, theme | Legitimate interests / consent in the EU |
| Analytics | Measure page views and feature usage in aggregate to improve the product | Vercel Analytics, self-hosted metrics | Consent required in the EU/EEA/UK |
| Marketing | Measure the effectiveness of our marketing. Off by default. Only loaded with your consent. | None loaded before consent | Consent required everywhere applicable |
We do not set third-party advertising cookies.
3. Managing cookies
- In-product banner. On the EU/EEA/UK, a cookie banner appears on your first visit, allowing you to accept all, reject non-essential, or customize by category. You can reopen the banner at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
- Browser controls. All modern browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in and other core functions.
- Global Privacy Control. We treat a GPC signal as an opt-out for analytics and marketing categories.
4. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced in the Console.
